Beginning on January 1, 2025, the NJ minimum wage increases to $15.49 per hour.
On October 8, 2024 the NJ Department of Labor announced that New Jersey’s statewide minimum wage will increase by $0.36 to $15.49 per hour for most employees on Jan. 1, 2025. This achieves – and exceeds – the goal set by legislation signed by Governor Murphy in February 2019 to raise the minimum wage to at least $15 per hour by 2024 for most employees.
